Irving B. Reinbold

Frankenmuth, MI

Went home with his Lord Thursday, June 21, 2018, at Covenant Medical Center Cooper; age 92 years.  Irving was born on April 29, 1926 in Blumfield Township, MI to the late Alexander and Selma Reinbold. In November 1944, he honorably served in WWII in the Army and as a paratrooper until November 1946. Irving was married to Marion Mueller on June 30, 1951; she survives him.

Irving owned and operated Irving Reinbold Builder, he also was involved with the family business "On the Farm Bakery". Irving was a lifetime member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and its Men's Club, he contributed in many ways in the "Living Nativity". Irving had a lifetime membership for the Saginaw County Fair Association. He actively participated in building homes for Habitat for Humanity. He was an active member of American Legion Post 229. Irving had a keen interest in natural hygiene, nutrition, and organic gardening. Irving loved to travel and camp with his family.

Surviving besides his wife (Marion)are: his children Ruth (James) Jones of Florida, Curt (Patsy) Reinbold of Frankenmuth, MI, John (Deanna) Reinbold of Saginaw, MI; 10 grandchildren: Genevieve (Wayne) Sticker, Johann (Jana) Jones, Heide (Shane) Young, Courtney Reinbold, Jamie (Jason) Rickett, Lisa Reinbold, Lauren Reinbold, Simon Reinbold, Isabelle Reinbold and Isaac Reinbold; and 10 great grandchildren.

Irving was preceded in death by; 1 brother: Allen Reinbold.

Funeral services will take place on Monday, June 25, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 8220 Holland Rd., Frankentrost, Michigan.  Rev. Mark Loest will officiate with burial in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.  Irving's family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Immanuel Lutheran Church or Charity of Donor's Choice.
