J. Tom Slevin Jr.

Frankenmuth, MI

Passed away Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Winter Village of Frankenmuth; age 85 years. Tom was born on October 10, 1940 in Highland Park, MI to the late James (Irma) Slevin Sr. He was married to Ruth Granger on June 15, 1962; she survives him.

Tom was employed as a pattern maker at various shops in the Tri-Cities and assisted at the Slevin Bird Haus and Pet Shop. He was a member of the Pattern Makers Association and enjoyed fishing with his spouse and buying and selling antiques.

Surviving besides his wife Ruth are: daughter Laura (Russell) Newhouse of Carmel, IN; son Michael (Brenda Leahy) Slevin of La Crosse WI; and two grandchildren Callie (Grant) Slevin and Zach (Enya) Slevin.

Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. Frankenmuth, MI. The Rev. Joel Kaiser will officiate. Tom's family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Lorenz Lutheran Church or American Cancer Society.
