Jane Wescoat

Frankenmuth, MI

Went to her heavenly home to join her husband Don on Sunday March 27, 2022, at Covenant Cooper Medical Center; age 68 years. Jane Vanek was born on April 28, 1953, in Frankenmuth, MI to the late Waldo and Hilda Vanek. She was married to Don Wescoat on July 31, 1971, he predeceased her on June 12, 2002. Jane was a hairdresser for many years, she helped manage Dead Creek Saloon, and later worked seasonally at Bronner's. Jane was a member of St. Lorenz Lutheran Church, the Frankenmuth Conservation Club and the Birch Run Moose Lodge. Ma Jane loved socializing with friends and family around town.

Surviving are two sons Don Wescoat of Frankenmuth, MI, William (Carrie) Wescoat of Birch Run, MI; two grandchildren Brennan and Lani Wescoat, one sister Ann (Bill) Stephens and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will take place on Friday, April 1, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church, 1030 W. Tuscola, Frankenmuth, Michigan. Jane's family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin Street on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday at St. Lorenz from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Lorenz Lutheran School or Frankenmuth Fire Department.
