Janice M. Thompson

Frankenmuth, MI

Went home to be with her Lord on Monday December 30, 2024 at her home; age 81 years. Janice Lich was born on January 30, 1943 in Saginaw, MI to the late Fred and Emma Lich. Janice graduated from Saginaw High School. She was married to Robert Thompson on September 29, 1962; he predeceased her on June 13, 2015. She retired from Delphi Automotive and was a member of Frankenmuth United Methodist Church. She served as church secretary after her retirement. Janice also volunteered in several different church ministries. She enjoyed watching MSU sports and the Detroit Lions. Janice and Robert volunteered as a Frankenmuth Jaycee and enjoyed several card clubs together.

Surviving are son Michael Thompson of Dayton, Ohio, and daughter Lorie (Mike) Bergelin of Bridgeport, MI and grandchildren Jason and Taylor Thompson.

Memorial Service will take place on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Frankenmuth United Methodist Church, 346 Vates St., Frankenmuth, Michigan. Rev. Ryan Wenburg will officiate. Janice's family will receive visitors at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
