Jean M. Schutte

Frankenmuth, MI

Went to be with her Lord Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Covenant Medical Center; age 80 years.  Jean Tarnosky was born on October 27, 1940 in Detroit, MI to the late Edward and Mary Tarnosky. She was married to William Schutte on December 29, 1962. He predeceased her on August 26, 2019.

Jean was a member of St. Lorenz Lutheran Church.

She is survived by 1 daughter Sharon (Richard) Van De Velde of St. Simons Island, GA, 1 son Mark Schutte of Frankenmuth, MI; 2 granddaughters Jacqueline Van De Velde and Meredith Van De Velde; 1 brother Raymond (Billie) Tarnosky; 1 sister Eileen (Morris) Spencer; 1 sister-in-law Clarice Cadovich, 2 brothers-in-law David Frey and Ralph (Sandy) Schutte; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, Jean was predeceased by 2 sisters Noreen Frey and Marylynn Morawa; 1 brother-in-law Leroy Schutte, and 2 sisters-in-law Janice Zedler and Mary Jane Neudeck.

Funeral services will take place on Friday, April 30, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church, 1030 W. Tuscola, Frankenmuth, Michigan. Burial will follow in St. Lorenz Lutheran Cemetery.  Jean's family will receive visitors at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Lorenz Stephen Ministry or St. Lorenz Media Ministry.
