Joanne M. Reinbold

Joanne Margaret (Rupp) Reinbold went to be with her Lord on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at Covenant Glen of Frankenmuth; age 95 years. Joanne was born on April 20, 1930, in Blumfield Township, MI to the late Robert and Emilie (Rogner) Rupp. Joanne was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and served on various committees there including The Living Nativity. Joanne and Otto Reinbold were married May 12, 1951, in Frankentrost and were blessed with 61 years together, until his passing in 2012. Together they raised five children, James (Mary) Reinbold, Gerald (Kathy) Reinbold, Beverly Bauer, David (Pam) Reinbold, and Marcia (Jeff) Herzog.

Besides her parents and husband Otto, Joanne was preceded in death by her son and daughter-in-law, David (Pam) Reinbold, siblings and their spouses, Marian (Alfred) Dinse, Doris (Roland) O'Connor, Celia (Walter) Ruthig, Harvey (Hildegard) Rupp, Wilbur (Esther) Rupp, Edgar (June) Rupp.

Surviving are 10 grandchildren: Sarah Briggs, Zachary Herzog, Jenny Bauer, Rachel and Laura Reinbold, Jacob Bauer, Molly Stuart, Matthew, Joshua and Justin Reinbold; three step grandsons, Jeremy, Nathan, and Aaron McNally; 23 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral Service will take place on Friday, July 25, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 8220 Holland Rd., Frankentrost, MI. The Rev. Dan Wojtowicz will officiate with burial to follow in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Joanne's family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. Frankenmuth, on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Immanuel Lutheran Church or School.
