John P. Sutorik

Frankenmuth, MI

Passed away peacefully with family by his side Friday, April 10, 2026 at MyMichigan Medical Center after a brief illness; age 88 years. John was born on October 5, 1937 in Saginaw, MI to the late Joseph and Mary Sutorik. He was married to the former Kathleen Rehmann on April 27, 1963 in Albee Township; she survives him.

John was employed by Wright-K Technology until his retirement, receiving multiple patents.

He was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church. He was an avid automobilia enthusiast and was a talented artist. He enjoyed spending time with his family and going to automobilia auctions.

Surviving besides his wife Kathy are: three sons, Anthony (Suzanne) Sutorik of Midland, Christopher (Maria) Sutorik, and Terry (Annette) Sutorik; three grandsons and three granddaughters Isaac, Sage, Benjamin, Emily, Amelia, and Adelaide; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, John was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters George, Agnes, Ann, Mary, Joe, Frank, and Matthew.

Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 958 E. Tuscola St. Frankenmuth, MI. Fr. Patrick Jankowiak will officiate with burial to follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. John's family will receive visitors on Wednesday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
