Went home with her Lord on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at Wellspring Lutheran Home of Frankenmuth; age 90 years. Joyce Hutchinson was born on September 1, 1928 in Birch Run, MI to the late Arthur and Lillian Hutchinson. She was married to Joseph Kruckowski, he predeceased her in 1986. Joyce was employed by General Motors until her retirement. She was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, where she volunteered in many different capacities. Joyce also volunteered for 4-H and the Red Cross Blood Program, local food pantries, the VA Hospital, and many other areas of outreach, for which she won several volunteer awards. She was also especially proud of her many years of sports involvement, including over 50 years of playing softball (she was a member of the Frankenmuth Softball Hall of Fame), volleyball, bowling, and horseshoes, and she especially enjoyed playing (and winning) games with friends and family.
Surviving are: 1 daughter, JoAnna Davis of Frankenmuth MI.; 1 grandson, Boyden (Angela) Davis IV of Saginaw MI., and many nieces and nephews, along with a multitude of friends she counted as family.
Joyce was preceded in death by her husband Joseph, 1 son; Timothy Kruckowski, 2 sisters; Dorothy Morse, Donna Lund, 4 brothers; AJ Hutchinson, Eugene Hutchinson, Russell Hutchinson and Tony Hutchinson.
Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, 6065 King Rd., Bridgeport, MI. Rev. Rheanna Goodrich will officiate with burial in Frankenmuth Township Cemetery. Joyce's family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. on Monday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Matthew's Lutheran Church.
