Judith Marie Dohrmann

Loving wife and mother went to be with her Lord Friday, December 14, 2018 at Covenant Cooper Medical Center; age 57 years. Judy Weiss was born on April 30, 1961 in Saginaw, MI to Fred and Lorraine H. Weiss. She married Jim Dohrmann on May 23, 1987 at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church; he survives her. Judy was currently employed by Weiss Equipment where she worked in the office. She was a member of St. Lorenz Lutheran Church and found great joy in volunteering there. Judy and Jim continued her parent's tradition at The Weiss Family Farm by growing and harvesting blue hubbard squash. She cherished her time with family and friends.

Surviving besides her husband, Jim Dohrmann, are: her mother, Lorraine H.; son, Christopher (Kayla Coutchie) Dohrmann of Holt, MI; daughter Melanie Dohrmann of Grand Rapids, MI; sister, Beverly (Robert) Fowls of Bend, OR; brother, David (Linda) Weiss of Stillwater, MN; and sister, Carolyn Weiss of Frankenmuth, MI; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Judy was predeceased by her father, Fred Weiss.

Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 10:15 a.m. at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. and 11:00 a.m. at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church.  Rev. Mark Brandt will officiate with burial between services in St. Lorenz Lutheran Cemetery.  Judy's family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Lorenz Lutheran Church, Frankenmuth Wickson District Library or a charity of the donor's choice.
