Julie A. Mossner “Scootie”

Frankenmuth, MI

Went home to her Lord on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at My Michigan Medical Center Saginaw; age 64 years. Julie Lucio was born on September 1, 1962 in Saginaw, MI to the late Herbert Sr. and Dolores Lucio. She was married to Tom Mossner on June 2, 2006 at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church in Richville; he survives her. Julie was employed by General Motors, Delphi, and Nexteer in Saginaw, Ohio, Lansing and Flint for 28 years. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Frankentrost. Julie enjoyed watching her shows and traveling. Her greatest joy was loving and caring for her family.

Surviving besides her husband Tom are son Andrew (Seth) Lucio of Flint, MI; daughter Andrea (Bryson) Burnside of Bay City, MI; stepsons Jeremy Mossner of Richville, MI and Joseph Mossner of Frankenmuth, MI; brother Will (Diann) Lucio of Chesaning, MI; brothers and sisters- in-law Tom Rappley, Joe Hickey, Mae Lucio, and Connie (Mike) Laux, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and her special cat "Pookie" Prince Alan.

Besides her parents, Julie was preceded in death by her infant sister Rebecca Lucio; sisters Connie Rappley, and Cathy Hickey; brothers Herbert Lucio Jr and Jesse Lucio, and her father-in-law and mother-in-law Ruben (Dorothy) Mossner.

Funeral service will take place on Monday, September 21, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church, 3455 S. Van Buren Road, Richville, Michigan. Rev. Wesley Gillaspie will officiate with cremation to follow. Julie’s family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Monday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Michael’s Lutheran Church Richville or Immanuel Lutheran Church Frankentrost.
