June E. Finger

Passed away Sunday, November 10, 2019 at her daughter's home; age 94 years. June Hoffman was born on June 4, 1925 in Frankenmuth Township, MI to the late Jacob and Katherine (Dommer) Hoffman. She was married to Maurice M. Finger on July 27, 1946; he predeceased her. June worked at Bronner's for 5 years and Nature's Design for 10 years. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church Bridgeport, MI.

Surviving are: children Henry Hoffman, Katherine (Patrick) Freeman; grandchildren Jared Wood, Kyle Hoffman and Tim and Jasmin Hoffman; great-grandchildren Emerson Wood and Everett Hoffmann; sister-in-law Mary Lou Hoffman; her dear best friend Robert Sawatzki and many nieces and nephews.

June was predeceased by: daughter-in-law Susan Hoffman; beloved granddaughter Celeste Steinhelper Wood and 2 sisters and 5 brothers.

Memorial service will take place on Friday November 22, 2019 11:00 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 4241 Williamson Rd., Bridgeport, Michigan.  June's family will receive visitors at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.  According to June's wishes, she donated her remains to the College of Home Medicines at Michigan State University.   Since the loss of June's granddaughter, Celeste Wood, she would like to help others with pancreatic cancer by donating to PANCAN, or Faith Lutheran Church.  Arrangements entrusted to Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth.
