Loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother passed away Friday May 21, 2021 after a long illness at Covenant Cooper Medical Center, age 97 years. Katie was born on July 8, 1923 to the late Michael and Margaret Reitenbach. She was married to Louis N. Fabbro who predeceased her in 1962. She retired from the Bavarian Inn Restaurant after many years of service. Katie loved cooking, baking, canning, gardening, and flowers. She loved dogs and spending time with her family.

Surviving are 7 children Ronald Fabbro of Birch Run, MI, Richard L. Fabbro of Frankenmuth, MI, Bonnie J. Wegner of Birch Run, MI, Victor (Sue) Fabbro of Millington, MI, Kenneth W. (Marcie) Fabbro of St. John's, MI, Nancy (Gary) Gilson of Birch Run, MI, Debbie (Scott) Rausch of Frankenmuth, MI; 11 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband Louis, Katherine was predeceased by one son Daniel M. Fabbro; one daughter Carol Ann Fabbro; grandson Kevin Fabbro, one daughter-in-law Rose Fabbro, one brother and five sisters.

Private family service will take place, officiated by Rev. Edward Kast. Burial in Birch Run Twp. Cemetery.
