Kathleen E. Voelker

Frankenmuth, MI

Passed away unexpectedly Thursday, March 13, 2025 at her home; age 84 years. Kathy was born on September 9, 1940 to the late Henry and Eleanor Mehl. She was married to Robert Voelker on February 4, 1961; he predeceased her on January 2, 2005.

Kathy was primarily a homemaker but was also employed by Service Aids Detective Agency and owned an antique booth for several years. She enjoyed animals, garage sales, yard work, rock music concerts, hot rod classic cars, and sprint car racing. Kathy was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Bridgeport.

Surviving are: son Todd Voelker of Saginaw, MI, and several dear friends and relatives.

Besides her husband Robert, Kathy was preceded in death by her sister, Dolores Kipfmiller, stepfather Richard Weiss and many loved relatives and friends.

Funeral service will take place on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, 6065 King Rd, Bridgeport, MI. Pastor Diane Sponheim will officiate with burial to follow in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Kathy's family will receive visitors at the church on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
