Kenneth Joseph "KJ" Hall passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at his home in Vassar, Michigan.
KJ was born on July 9th, 1964, in Chicago, Illinois to Carolyn Kleb and the late Frank Kenneth Hall. After an upbringing of frequent travel he graduated from Munich High School in Germany, and attended Michigan State University before settling in Vassar. As a talented drummer he was well known as a musician in several local bands, including Negative Earth, The Common Groove, Bad Seed, and Trash Can Jam. KJ was a dedicated crane operator, an avid model train collector and, above all else, a loving father and husband. He married Tracy Sievert, with whom he had two children: Kennedy and Kody Hall. He will be deeply missed by his family.
Kenneth is also survived by his mother, Carolyn Kleb; siblings Sharril (Jeff) McNally, Jennifer (Aaron) Gebauer, Karen (Greg) Stiffler, David (Julie) Kleb, and Geoffrey (Noelle) Kleb Jr; as well as many cherished friends and family members.
The funeral service will take place at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin Street on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. The Rev. Mike Kern will be officiating. The family will welcome visitors at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 17th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Following the funeral service, a procession will lead to Eastlawn Memorial Gardens for those who wish to accompany KJ and his family to his final resting place.
In honor of Kenneth's life, and in support of Kennedy and Kody, memorial gifts may be sent to the funeral home ℅ Tracy Hall.
