Kenneth H. Heck

Passed away on March 31, 2024 at Saginaw Senior Care; age 94 years. Kenneth was born on June 18, 1929 in Elkton, MI to the late Frank and Althea Heck. He was married to Shirley Heasty on May 27, 1950; she predeceased him on December 24, 2001. Ken was a manager at senior citizen housing at Westchester Village, a plant manager at Farm Bureau fertilizer factory in Saginaw, a chemical supervisor at Smith Douglas fertilizer in Saginaw. Ken was a member of VFW 6013 in Elkton, MI and American Legion Frankenmuth post #150. Ken was a longtime member of St. Lorenz Lutheran Church in Frankenmuth.

Surviving are three daughters Deborah (Robert) Michael, Laurie (Richard) Root, Kelley (Tom) Tagget; six grandchildren Nathan (Lindsay) Root, Jacob (Amanda Broadworth) Michael, Trent Michael, Mitchell Keller, Leslee (Jarrod) Chapman and Phillip Keller; five great grandchild Brandon Root, Justin Root, Nora Chapman, Ezra Chapman, and Jackson Michael, and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his wife Shirley, Ken was predeceased by his sister Mildred Renn of Elkton, MI.

Funeral service will take place on Friday, April 12, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin Street. Ken's family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Lorenz Lutheran Church or American Legion Post 150.
