Kenneth C. “Ken” Jackson

Brighton, MI; formerly of Frankenmuth, MI

Kenneth C. “Ken” Jackson, age 57, of Brighton, Michigan, passed away Friday, October 23, 2026.

Ken was born on February 21, 1969, in Rochester, New York the son of Rita J. Jackson and the late William K. Jackson. He was preceded in death by his father, William K. Jackson.

Ken spent his formative years in Michigan and Alabama. He graduated from Frankenmuth High School in 1987 and earned an undergraduate and a master’s degree from Western Michigan University. He taught criminal justice at Michigan State University while pursuing a Ph.D. before serving in law enforcement in Atlanta, Georgia. Ultimately, he would train and excel as a financial advisor with Edward Jones. Ken approached life with intensity, unwavering commitment, and love. His greatest passion was his family, most especially his children, in whom he took immense pride. Ken enjoyed spending time with his poodles, Bailey and Sully, often hiking together in his woods. Ken always found joy in mentorship and forging meaningful relationships, outdoor adventures, working with his hands, and good music; the louder the better.

Ken lives on through his family that he loves more than anything: His mother Rita J. Jackson; his three children Dr. Isaac Jackson (Jessica), Evan Jackson (Elle), and Victoria Jackson; his brother, Scott Jackson (Noreen); his nephews Ryan Jackson (Olivia), Will Jackson; and his niece, Grace Jackson. Ken will be deeply missed by his family and his many dear friends

There are no words to adequately express Ken’s love for his family. His children are and always will be the most important people in his life.

A private family service will take place. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the Livingston County Animal Shelter.
