Kenneth M. Pippert

Birch Run, MI

Passed away peacefully with family by his side Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Covenant Medical Center Cooper after a yearlong battle with cancer; age 69 years. Ken was born on June 21, 1954 in Saginaw, MI to the late Milton and Marian Pippert.

Ken was employed by Oakwood Construction until his retirement. After retirement he worked for Grossi Property Management. Ken was a member of the Gilford Gun Club and enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and shooting sports with his brother and nephews. He loved spending time watching his grandsons at their sporting events and was the go-to person for home improvement projects and was always willing to help.

Surviving are: companion of forty years Lori Lindow; daughter Melissa (David) McGovern of Frankenmuth; two grandsons: Sean and Drew; brother Jim (Martha) Pippert; three sisters: Beverly Vattimo, Barbara (Dwayne) May, and Nancy (Fred) Moreno; and nieces and nephews including special nephews Jeff Pippert and Justin (Angela) Pippert.

Ken was preceded in death by brother Ronald Pippert and brother-in-law Anthony Vattimo.

Memorial service will take place on Friday, April 19, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin Street.  Rev. Mike Kern will officiate. Cremation has taken place. Ken's family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
