Obituary

Keri Ellen Barbara Frahm

Saginaw, MI

Keri simply loved life. She was taken from this world way too soon in a car accident in California on October 14, 2023. She is survived by her parents Thomas & Gail (Reinbold) Frahm, her siblings Renee and Matthew Place (Estonia), Ashley Frahm (Georgia), Michael and Captain Emily Frahm (Idaho), her precious Godparents Danielle Goss, Jason Reinbold, and James Schoenow, and dozens of aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends who love and miss her dearly. Keri was received in heavenly celebration by her Grandparents Walter and Sally Frahm, and Stuart and Esther Reinbold, as well as many other family members and special friends.

She was incredibly loving, generous, and kind. She became instant friends with everyone she met. All who knew her remember her big heart, beautiful smile, and the best laugh ever. She brought joy and light to all who were honored to know her throughout her 25 years of life.

Keri was born on March 20, 1998, in Saginaw, Michigan and attended Immanuel Lutheran Church and School. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. Keri was active in the local 4-H clubs, band, choir, handbells, travel basketball, and a variety of volunteer opportunities. While attending Frankenmuth High School, she played all four years on the Eagles volleyball, basketball, and track and field teams. She also was voted prom queen before graduating in 2016. She continued her studies at Ferris State University where she played on the women's basketball team for the Bulldogs, intramural broomball, and did the Fall 2019 semester abroad in Utrecht, Netherlands. She graduated in the Spring of 2020, virtually, with the degree of Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management, Summa Cum Laude.

Keri began working for Highway West Vacations in many different hospitality roles in Grand Lake, CO and throughout California. She enjoyed working weddings and private parties, waitressing, living by the Rocky Mountain National Forest, had a blast working the X Games for two winters, and held other jobs and internships. Just days before her death, she had been offered a job as a flight attendant with Delta Air Lines and was excited to earn her wings.

Keri's confirmation verse was: "Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." John 8:12

We would love to hear how Keri brought light to your life at the visitation with family and friends taking place at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, MI on Sunday, October 22, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. An additional visitation will be on Monday, October 23, 2023 at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Frankentrost, 8220 E. Holland Road, Saginaw, MI from 10 a.m. until noon followed by a memorial service and a luncheon. Rev. Mark Loest will officiate. And, in true Keri form, please come as you are. All are welcome here.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made via Venmo @InMemoryOfKeriFrahm to let her life light live on in hopes of starting a scholarship in her honor or to Immanuel Lutheran Church General Fund where others will learn of Jesus as their everlasting light.
