Loving, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to all passed away peacefully with family by her side on Thursday, February 1, 2024, after her courageous fight with a motor neuron disease; age 52 years. Kristin was born on July 11, 1971, in Royal Oak, MI to Timothy and Joyce Scholz. Kristin graduated from Frankenmuth High School in 1990. She was employed by Armchair Video and the Bavarian Inn Lodge. Kristin was a member of Frankenmuth United Methodist Church. She was an avid fan of the WWE and enjoyed listening to music. She will always be remembered by her contagious smile and unforgettable laugh.
Surviving besides her parents Tim and Joyce Scholz of Frankenmuth, are sister Tami Benzing of Frankenmuth; nephew Chase Benzing, also of Frankenmuth; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.
Kristin was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Memorial Service will take place on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at Frankenmuth United Methodist Church, 346 Vates St., Frankenmuth, Michigan. Rev. Ryan Wenburg will officiate. Cremation has taken place. Kristin's family will receive visitors at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
