Lemoyne T. Mentel

Frankenmuth, Michigan

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother passed away Saturday, May 26, 2018 at the age of 97.  Lemoyne was born October 13, 1920 in Saginaw, Michigan.  She married Wallace W. Mentel on May 27, 1939.  She worked for a number of years at Lufkin Rule and the Dapper-Do Company.  She was a member of St. George's Catholic Church and Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

She is survived by one son, Wallace G. and (Joyce) Mentel of Augusta, Georgia; four grandchildren, Heidi (Paul) Jarlock, Richard Ehlow Jr., Wallace G. Mentel, Jr., Brian A. (Katie) Mentel; eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson; one sister, Lucille Keifer, and several nieces and nephews and a special caring niece, Lisa Murlick.  She was predeceased by her husband, Wally and daughter, Deanna Ehlow, son-in-law Richard Ehlow Sr., brother George Denner, sisters Floretta Wyman, Grace Gaudreau, and Shirley Prevost.

Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 958 E. Tuscola Road, Frankenmuth.  Father Robert Byrne will officiate with burial at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens in Saginaw.  Lemoyne's family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
