Leon W. Pickelmann

Frankenmuth, MI

Went home with his Lord Tuesday December 17, 2019 at his home; age 65 years. Leon was born on June 4, 1954 in Saginaw, MI to the late Edmund and Edna Pickelmann. He graduated Frankenmuth Highschool in 1972. He was married to Penny Grainger on August 31, 1974; she survives him. Leon was a self-employed dairy farmer and later in life a truck driver and a seed salesman for Channel Seed, he was a member of the Colliders Auto Club. Leon enjoyed playing cards and spending time with his family.

Surviving besides his wife Penny are: children Michael (Tammy) Pickelmann, Toby (Ashley) Pickelmann, Jamie (Eric) Peplinski; grandchildren Katlyn and Michael "Lee", Paige, Owen and

Logan Pickelmann, Ethan, Evelyn and soon to be Colten Peplinski; and aunt Lorine Zoellner.

Leon was preceded in death by brother Henry Pickelmann; uncle Herman Zoellner; and his mother and father-in-law.

Memorial services will take place on Monday, December 23, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin Street. Rev. Joseph Berkobien will officiate. Leon's family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
