Leona Abraham

Frankentrost, MI

Went home with the Lord Thursday, August 10, 2023, at Wellspring Lutheran Home of Frankenmuth; age 90 years. Leona Keinath was born on January 24, 1933 in Frankenmuth, MI to the late Bernhard and Anna Ortner Keinath. She was married to Donald G. Abraham on September 4, 1955, he predeceased her on December 1, 2015. Leona worked and raised her family on their family farm. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Frankentrost, the American Legion Aux., Farm Bureau and enjoyed her many card clubs. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving are one son, David Abraham of Frankentrost, and daughter, Ann (Curt) Bublitz of Fairgrove, MI; four grandsons, Joe (Ashley) Bublitz, Daniel and Nathan Bublitz, and Aaron Abraham; great grandchildren Elizabeth and Joshua Bublitz and sister-in-law Shirley Keinath.

Besides her husband Donald, Leona was preceded in death by her sisters Ruth Keinath and Anita (Norman) Petzold; brothers Harold (Stella) Keinath and Glenn Keinath.

Funeral service will take place on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 8220 Holland Rd., Frankentrost, MI. Rev. Mark Loest will officiate with burial in Eastlawn Memorial Garden Cemetery, Saginaw, MI. Leona's family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. on Friday, August 18th from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
