Lois Riethmeier

Frankenmuth, MI

Went to be with her Lord Friday, August 4, 2023 at Birch Run Fields Assisted Living; age 86 years. Lois was born on June 25, 1937 to the late Walter and Leota (Reinbold) Schnell. Lois was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Frankentrost. She graduated from Saginaw High School and then moved to Burton, MI and attended U of M Flint Nursing School, later attending U of M Ann Arbor to earn her BSN. Lois was employed by and retired from McLaren Hospital. She then moved to Frankenmuth to enjoy her retirement.

Lois leaves behind one sister Kathleen Kraenzlein and one brother-in-law Larry.; two beloved nephews and their families James and his wife Emily and their children Lauren and Evan, and Mark Kraenzlein and his wife Denise and their children Everly and Nolan.

According to Lois's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Immanuel Lutheran Church of Frankentrost, or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
