Lois W. Spindler

Frankenmuth, MI (formerly of Merrill, MI)

Passed away Friday, August 10, 2018, at Wellspring Lutheran Services Frankenmuth; age 86 years.  Lois Trinklein was born on February 8, 1932, in Saginaw County, MI to the late George and Anna (Graham) Trinklein.   She was married to Donald E. Spindler on June 16, 1951.  He predeceased her on January 24, 2003. Lois was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wheeler, Michigan where she was active in many church functions.

Surviving are: 2 daughters and a son, Debra (Willie) Soto, Don F. Spindler, and Diane K. (H. Bernhardt) Keinath; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; a sister Joan Trinklein; sister-in-law Marilyn Trinklein; brother-in-law Peter Boos and many nieces and nephews.

Lois was preceded in death by; sisters Edith (Jake) Schanhals, Nada Boos and Phyllis (Carl) Bluemer; 2 brothers Tom (Dorothy) Trinklein and Stafford Trinklein Sr.

A private service in remembrance of Lois Spindler will take place, led by Wellspring Chaplain Randy Bickel. Burial will take place in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Saginaw, Michigan.  Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wheeler, Michigan.  Arrangements entrusted to Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth.
