Lori Ann Weiss, 63, of Frankenmuth, MI, formerly of Baxter MN, went home to heaven on Tuesday, April 21 at Covenant Hospital, Saginaw.

Lori was born on March 23, 1957 to Elmer and Lorna (Maurer) Weiss in Frankenmuth, MI.  She was baptized and confirmed at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church.

Lori was a teacher at St. John's Lutheran School in Ottertail, MN and Family of Christ Lutheran School, Baxter, MN for many years.  When she retired, she returned to live in Frankenmuth.   Lori enjoyed sewing, crafts, playing cards and visiting with family and friends.

Surviving are: sister Linda (Jim) Tinkey, Warsaw, IN, brothers Roger (Joanmarie) Weiss, Frankenmuth, Russell (Lori) Weiss, Kawkawlin, Gordon (Mary) Weiss, Woodbridge, VA, and Ernest (Karla) Weiss, Bay City, her nieces and nephews: Elizabeth, Jennifer and Jamielynn Tinkey, Margie Weiss, Scott Weiss, Lydia Raquepaw, Ryan Weiss, Roselynn Sharman, Brandon Weiss, Erin Lord, Nathan Weiss, Evan Weiss, Bethany Weiss, Lucas Weiss, great-nieces and great-nephews: Lillian Weiss, Natalie Sharman, Charlotte Weiss, Timothy Weiss, and Alex Weiss.

Lori was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Lorna Weiss, as well as her brother, Richard.

The family wishes to thank all those who lifted Lori up with cards, prayers, and words of encouragement throughout her journey and battle with cancer.

A private funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2020 at 11 am.  Pastor Mark Brandt will serve as officiant. The service will be live on the Facebook page of Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth and on their website once the service is completed. A memorial service will be held at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church at a later date.
