Lorna O. Koeppendoerfer

Went home with her Lord Saturday, April 11, 2020 at Covenant Cooper Medical Center; age 99 years. Lorna Bierlein was born on August 27, 1920 in Reese, MI to the late Louie and Barbara Bierlein. She was married to Wallace Koeppendoerfer on August 9, 1946; he predeceased her on April 23, 1980. She enjoyed working on the family farm, was a member of St. Lorenz Lutheran Church, LWML, Stephens Ministry and volunteered at St. Lorenz Church and School. Her hobbies included traveling, sewing, listening to polka music, playing dominoes and euchre with family and friends.

Surviving are: 4 children David (Helen) Koeppendoerfer of Vassar, MI, Marcia (Wayne) Smith of Pompano Beach, FL, Leroy Koeppendoerfer of Ft. Myers, FL, Julie Landskroener of Vassar, MI; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 1 sister Hilda Buchinger of Caro, MI. Besides her husband, Lorna was preceded in death by 2 sisters, 5 brothers, and son-in-law Keith Landskroener.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions a public memorial service will take place at a later date. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Lorenz Lutheran Church or LWML. Arrangements entrusted to Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth.
