Lorraine H. Weiss

Passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at Covenant Glen of Frankenmuth, age 90 years.

Lorraine Rodammer was born on December 12, 1928 in Richville, MI to the late Otto and Clara Rodammer. She was married to Fred Weiss on November 24, 1950; he predeceased her on March 31, 2010. Lorraine worked side by side with her husband raising their children and managing the family farm. She was a member of St. Lorenz Lutheran Church, LWML, and the Farm Bureau. Lorraine loved spending time with her family, and her vegetable and flower gardens.

Surviving are: 2 daughters and 1 son, Bev (Bob) Fowls, David (Linda) Weiss, Carolyn Weiss; a son-in-law Jim Dohrmann; grandchildren, Ben (Dorie) Fowls, Jessica (Ryan) Pepe , Michael (Laura) Fowls, Nick (Courtney Joe) Weiss, Christopher Dohrmann and fiancé Kayla Coutchie, Melanie Dohrmann; 3 great grandsons, Benjamin, Charlie and Sam Fowls; a brother Milton (Eileen) Rodammer and many nieces and nephews.

Lorraine was predeceased by: daughter Judy Dohrmann; sisters and brother, Edna Rodammer, Irene Trinklein and Otto Rodammer Jr.

Memorial Service will be announced at a later date. A private committal service will take place at St. Lorenz Cemetery. The family wishes to thank Heart to Heart Hospice for the wonderful care and support they provided.
