Marcus J. Bierlein

Bridgeport, MI

Passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, March 14, 2023 while traveling in Utah; age 74 years.  Marc was born on February 8, 1949 in Saginaw, MI to the late John and Irma Bierlein.

Marc honorably served in the U.S Army. He owned Marc Bierlein Excavating, while also farming on the family farm. He enjoyed traveling and watching the Tigers. Marc was a member of St. Lorenz Lutheran Church and American Legion Post 150.

Surviving are: two sons Mike Bierlein of Bridgeport and Marty (Jill) Bierlein of Frankenmuth; long-time companion Karyn Crabtree of Vassar; grandchildren Matthew, Gavin, and Tia Bierlein all of Frankenmuth.

Memorial services will take place on Monday, March 20, 2023 at 12:00 noon at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin Street. Cremation has taken place. Marc's family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Lorenz Lutheran Church or American Legion Post 150.
