Marianne G. Seguin

Frankenmuth, MI

Passed away Sunday, July 10, 2022 at Ascension St. Mary's; age 93 years.  Marianne Vethacke was born on January 23, 1929 in Detroit, MI to the late Theodore and Hedwig (Schultz) Vethacke.   She was married to Charles Seguin in Detroit, MI; he predeceased her on May 6, 1996. Marianne was employed by Michigan Bell as a manager. She was a member of the Friends of the Library, the Frankenmuth Women's Club, and volunteered at the Frankenmuth Historical Museum. Marianne was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening.

Surviving are: nieces and nephews, cousins, two sisters-in-law, and many friends.

Besides her husband Charles, she was preceded in death by her three brothers:  Herman, Theodore and Werner.

According to Marianne's wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. She will be laid to rest next to her husband Charles in the Howell City Cemetery.   Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the James E. Wickson District Library.
