Marilyn Yvonne Little

March 3, 1930-Jan. 29, 2019

Loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother went to her Lord's loving arms Jan. 29, 2019, age 88 years. She was born in Saginaw, Mi. to Alexander and Marie (Zittel) Feuerstein.

Her husband, Harold Little, Sr. predeceased her in death along with her daughter Kathleen Vanecek. Surviving are Harold Little, Jr. (Sue) Saginaw, Vernon (Ginny) Little Birch Run, Marilyn Kern (Saginaw), many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Four grandchildren predeceased her.

Marilyn was a long time member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary, Birch Run. She was a lifelong and founding member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, Frankenmuth, which was among the many firsts in Marilyn's life. She was the first woman Lion, Frankenmuth Chapter, as well as serving as its first woman President. She traveled all over the world including Russia, China, Australia, Japan, Jamaica, and many others.

Besides her civic work, she loved to paint and spent many hours putting brush to bulbs, canvas, and rocks. She gave away more than she painted.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 2, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 958 E. Tuscola Rd., Frankenmuth, Michigan.  Cremation to follow. Marilyn's family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. on Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.  There will be a Vigil Service on Friday at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Blessed Trinity Catholic Church or Frankenmuth Lions Club.
