Marion Phillput Klein

August 1, 1924 - August 25, 2024

Marion Klein passed away peacefully on August 25, 2024 at the age of 100. Marion was born on August 1, 1924 in Detroit, Michigan and lived most of her life in suburban Detroit. Marion was a lifelong member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Mount Clemens, Michigan where she worked until retirement as the church secretary.

Marion is survived by her son Robert Klein and his wife Martha, her two grandchildren Lisa Richards and David Klein, her two great-grandchildren Dylan and Oliver, her sister Elaine Engel, and her nephew Mark Hambaum, wife Pat and daughter Abby.

Marion was passionate about her church, gardening, playing cards, watching Tiger baseball games and spending time with her friends.

Funeral service will take place on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at 12:30 p.m. at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin Street. Marion's family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. A private burial will take place.  In lieu of flowers and in loving memory of Marion Klein, we invite contributions to St. Luke Lutheran Church, 21400 South Nunneley Road, Clinton Township, Michigan 48035.
