Marion Pfund

Our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother was called to her eternal heavenly home on Friday, November 20, 2020, after a lengthy illness; age 88 years. Marion Abraham was born in Frankentrost, Michigan on October 8, 1932 to the late Lawrence and Emma (Geyer) Abraham. She was married to Richard Pfund on June 26, 1954. Together they enjoyed 56 years of marriage. Richard predeceased her on February 26, 2010. They were blessed with 3 children, Carol (Wes) Reinbold, Donna (Anthony) Bierlein, and Dennis (Diane) Pfund.

Marion was a life long faithful member of Immanuel Lutheran Church Frankentrost, it's Ladies Aid Society and the Choir. She volunteered many years at the Frankenmuth Lutheran Home. She was a wonderful devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family, flower gardening, baking and card playing with friends.

Surviving besides her children are 8 grandchildren; Michael (Beth) Reinbold, Travis (Emily) Bierlein, Erich (Amy) Reinbold, Dana (Justin) Baley, Karli Bierlein, Heidi (Michael) Chapman, Austin Pfund and Karie Pfund; also 9 great-grandchildren, 1 brother Wally (Alice) Abraham; brother-in-law Arthur Pfund and sister-in-law Viola Sommer; special friend Betty Huber.

Due to COVID- 19 restrictions private funeral services will take place. A recording will be provided of the service on the Cederberg Funeral Home website Wednesday after 1 p.m. Burial will take place in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens, Saginaw. The family would like to give special thanks to the caring staff at Vassar Fields Assisted Living. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Immanuel Lutheran Church General Fund.
