Obituary

Marion E. Reinbold

Frankenmuth, MI

Went home to be with her Lord Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Covenant Glen Assisted Living Facility; age 95 years. Marion was born to Oscar and Florence (Eisenhauer) Mueller on April 1, 1928.

In her younger years she enjoyed reading, playing accordion, and being active in Walther League. One of her favorite memories was the Walther League trip with friends to California. Marion was married to Irving Reinbold on June 30, 1951. She was predeceased by her husband on June 21, 2018.

Marion was baptized, completed 1st-8th grade, confirmed, and was a lifelong member at Immanuel Lutheran Church of Frankentrost. She enjoyed euchre, solitar, embroidery, sewing, and made the confirmation stoles for years for the new confirmands. Eating right and staying healthy was important to her, and she enjoyed baking for their "On the Farm Bakery" business in the late 60s. She enjoyed doing things for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and looked forward every fall to get the family together to make apple cider. Her motto for life was: Be honest, kind and respectful, pray and ask for God's help and guidance daily. Do your work well and to the best of your ability, take time for family and friends. Marion cherished every visit and moment with the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They never left without an ice cream cone.

Surviving are: her children Ruth (James) Jones of Florida, Curt (Patsy) Reinbold of Frankenmuth, MI, John (Deanna) Reinbold of Saginaw, MI; 10 grandchildren: Genevieve (Wayne) Sticker, Johann (Jana) Jones, Heide (Shane) Young, Courtney (Mark) Montgomery, Jamie (Jason) Rickett, Lisa Reinbold, Lauren (Steven) Schrader, Simon (Sarah) Reinbold, Isabelle and Isaac Reinbold; and 14 great-grandchildren.
