Marlene L. Keipinger

Marlene L. Keipinger completed her earthly journey on July 19, 2024 at age 74 years, encompassed by the love and support of those she cherished. Family and friends were privileged to stand beside her as she gracefully made her transition to the heavenly realm above. Marlene Huber was born on December 23, 1949 in Saginaw, MI to the late Edwin and Arlene Huber. She was married to Harry Keipinger on July 22, 1978; he survives her.

Over the years Marlene enjoyed looking after many children, becoming an adopted mother to many. She enjoyed many crafts and loved spending time with her family. Marlene was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Millington.

Surviving besides her husband Harry of 46 years are their three children: John Keipinger of Vassar, Paul (Keri Valentine) Keipinger of Vassar, and Kelly (Tony) Butts of Swartz Creek; grandchildren Noah, Lydia and Elijah Keipinger and Hunter Butts; sisters and brother Gary (Sharon) Huber, Nancy (Robert) Craft, and Bonnie (Le Roy) VanAuken; and many nieces and nephews.

Marlene was preceded in death by granddaughter Madison Johanna Butts, brother Roy Huber, and sister Betty Huber.

Funeral service will take place on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 4941 Center St. Millington, MI. Rev. Jim Bruner will officiate with burial to follow in Millington Township Cemetery. Marlene's family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. on Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a memorial to the Vassar High School Fine Arts Program.
