Marvin F. "Marv" Schreiber

Birch Run, MI

The good Lord called Marv home Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Maple Woods Manor; age 85 years.  Marv was born on September 2, 1937 in Saginaw, MI to the late Fred and Grace Schreiber. He was married to Dorothy on June 20, 1959 in Bridgeport, MI; she survives him.

Marv started out farming and later went into trenching, finishing out his career at Auernhamer Trenching. He enjoyed collecting toy tractors, hunting, and traveling. He was a member at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Millington.

Surviving besides his wife Dorothy are: two sons and one daughter: Daniel (Cheryl) Schreiber of Green Bay, WI; Michael Schreiber of Birch Run; Karen (George) Skene of Clarkston; grandchildren Callie Skene, Alex Skene, Sam Skene; and great-grandson Jackson Garrett.

Marv was preceded in death by his daughter Deanna Schreiber and great-granddaughter Skyler Garrett.

Funeral services will take place on Monday, January 9, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin Street. Marv's family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Monday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Paul Lutheran Church or charity of donor's choice.
