Mary A. Grasel

Frankenmuth, MI

Our loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away peacefully on Monday May 17, 2021 at her home with family by her side; age 88 years. Mary Ann Enderle was born on September 26, 1932 in Owendale, MI to the late Anton and Mary (Pavlichek) Enderle. She was married to Robert Grasel on May 1, 1954, He predeceased her on September 6, 2011.

Mary was employed by PNC Bank as a loan officer until her retirement in 1992. She was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church and loved spending time with her family and baking for them. She was lovingly known as "Grandma Cookie."

She leaves 5 children: Kathy (Jeff) Blank of Holland, MI, Bob (Debbie) Grasel of Reese, MI, Ann (John) Krafft of Frankenmuth, MI, Tony (Kathy) Grasel of Frankenmuth, MI, and Steve (Karen) Grasel of Frankenmuth, MI; grandchildren Zach (Lindsey) Eickhoff, Mitch (Melissa) Krafft, Lindsey (Joe) Metts, Sara (David) Kelly, Lisa (Marc) Stasik, Maria (Todd) Tambling, Rachel (Adam) White, Jessica (Gabe) Charboneau, Kevin (Courtney) Grasel, Tedd Blank, Nate (Emily) Eickhoff, Ali (Brad) Lichota, Bobby (Taylor) Blank, Mary (Tyler) Box, Hanna Grasel, and Emily Grasel; 23 great grandchildren and 2 on the way; brothers Tony (Pat) Enderle and Robert Enderle; sister Janet Enderle; brother-in-law Mike (Marilyn) Catania; and sister-in-law Kitty Ricker.

Besides her husband Mary was preceded in death by her grandson Scott Grasel and sisters Theresa Catania and Eleanor Hodges.

A private funeral mass will take place. The service will be livestreamed Friday May 21, 2021 at 11 a.m. at btmuth.org . Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Wellspring Hospice, Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, or St. Lorenz Girls of Grace Dance Ministry.
