Maynard E. Haubenstricker

Passed away peacefully in his sleep and went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at Winter Village after a brief illness; age 93 years. Maynard was born on September 19, 1931, to the late Ernst and Hilda (Keinath) Haubenstricker. He was married to Dora Humpert on November 25, 1961, at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church; she survives him.
Maynard was a faithful, dedicated farmer. He loved his Heavenly Father, lived a life of faith, and touched many with his kindness and generosity. He was a lifelong member of St. Lorenz Lutheran Church, and various church groups, Michigan Farm Bureau, many card clubs, and in his younger years enjoyed bowling with friends. He also took part in Wednesday morning Bible Class for many years.
Surviving besides his wife Dora are three sons and one daughter, M. Dean (Donna) Haubenstricker of Frankenmuth, Ann (Gary) Hayes of Mt. Pleasant, Kevin (Carrie) Haubenstricker of Frankenmuth, and Brian (Julie) Haubenstricker of Vassar; grandchildren Joshua, Samuel, Simon, Jessica (Jeff), Braden, Nate (Aubin), Dana, Allison, Garrett, Mitchell, Wesley, and Korrin; great-grandchildren Mackenzie, Harper, Carson, Addisen and Rhema; sister and brother, Marian (Curt) List and Ralph (Irene) Haubenstricker; sister-in-law Judy (Steve) Knowlton; Godchildren, Ron Haubenstricker, Tim Haubenstricker, and Jim List. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Maynard was preceded in death by brothers and sister Wilmar (Marie) Haubenstricker, Carl (Lorine) Haubenstricker, Wallace (Esther) Haubenstricker, and Lorine (Vern) Schwab; and Godchild, Dorothy Buchinger.
Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church, 1030 W. Tuscola, Frankenmuth, Michigan. The Rev. Joel Kaiser will officiate, with burial to follow in St. Lorenz Cemetery. Maynard's family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. on Monday from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Lorenz Lutheran Church.
