Mona L. Rees

Passed away peacefully Thursday, November 19, 2020 at Vassar Fields Assisted Living after a lengthy illness; age 84 years. Mona was born on January 6, 1936 in Sweden to the late Allan and Gerda Stahlberg. She married Fredrick Rees on August 6, 1960; he predeceased her in June 2017. Mona was a beautician and raised her family at home. She was active at Midland Center for the Arts and enjoyed her artwork projects and baking.

Surviving are a son Charles (Karen) Rees of Frankenmuth, MI; granddaughter Rachel (Joshua) Ehlert; also surviving are a brother and sister and many nieces and nephews in Sweden.

Mona was preceded in death by daughter Kristin Rees.
