Patricia A. Manning

Frankenmuth, MI

Joined her heavenly family Tuesday, November 7, 2023, as the matriarch of her family age of 88 years. Patricia Ezop was born on June 15, 1935 in Saginaw, MI to the late Theodore and Marie Ezop. She was married to Jerry Manning on June 3, 1961; he predeceased her on April 7, 1999.

Patricia was employed by Second National Bank as well as catering for Davinci's before the family started their own business, Manning's Carpet Cleaning, until 2011. She was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church and a previous member of St. Boniface Catholic Church. She volunteered in many capacities at both. Patricia was an avid reader and loved socializing with her friends and spending time with her family.

Surviving are: one daughter, Amy (Ed) Smithhart of Bridgeport, MI; one son, Daniel (Tonya) Manning of Bay City, MI; grandchildren Katrina (Tony) Campbell, Brandyn (Raelyn) Smithhart, and Jerrad Smithhart; great-grandchildren Colten, Seager, Kaleana, Avianna and Zeppelyn; sister Joan "Butchie" Brannan; and many dear friends.

Besides her husband, Patricia was preceded in death by granddaughter Kasey Smithhart, and sister Maxine Coombs.

Funeral service will take place on Monday, November 13, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 958 E. Tuscola Rd., Frankenmuth, Michigan.  Fr. Patrick Jankowiak will officiate with burial to follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.  Patricia's family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and at church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.  There will be a Prayer Service on Sunday at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Blessed Trinity Catholic Church.
