Passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018, at her home in Covenant Glen of Frankenmuth; age 94 years.  Patricia Steepe was born on April 29, 1924, in Flushing, MI to the late William and Ruth Steepe.  She was married to Ray Smith on February 23, 1945 in Flint, MI; he predeceased her. Mark, her beloved son, also predeceased her.  Patricia was employed at GM for 8 years. She was a member of the Frankenmuth United Methodist Church and the American Legion. Patricia enjoyed cooking, baking, and sewing. She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and great-grandmother.

Surviving are: daughter, Laurie (Steve) Arnold of Frankenmuth, MI; 4 grandchildren, Ray Arnold of Westland, MI, Marie Arnold of Chicago, IL, Jacob (Jamie) Smith of Titusville, FL, Sarah (Casey) Ingram of Orlando, FL; 5 great-grandchildren, Justin, Azaliah, and Grayson Smith, Lacy and Jackson Ingram; daughter-in-law Alice Smith Lowe, and special niece, Gretchen Anderson.

A memorial service will take place at Frankenmuth United Methodist Church after the holidays with the date to be determined at a later time.  According to Patricia's wishes, cremation has taken place   Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Frankenmuth United Methodist Church.
