Phyllis Jean Frank, age 90, of Frankenmuth went to be with her Lord on June 13, 2024.

Phyllis was born on February 12, 1934 in Bridgeport, MI to the late Clarence and Erna (Schluckebier) Muehlfeld. She was a lifelong member of St. Lorenz Lutheran Church and shared her faith with others until the very end. Phyllis married Eugene H. Frank on June 19, 1954. He predeceased her on October 6, 2008. She loved spending time outdoors, working and planting in her flower beds. She enjoyed spending time up north at the cabin and she was an avid card player. She retired in 1997 from Frankenmuth Mutual Insurance Company after 22 plus years of service. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew her.

Phyllis is survived by her four children, Charlene (Tim) Zorn, Connie (Len) Nuechterlein, Gary Frank and friend Pam, Janet (Dan) Chapman; 10 grandchildren Kelly (Larry) Utterback, Courtney (Anthony) D'Anna, Adam (Krista) Nuechterlein, Erik Zorn, Jennifer (Justin) Gregory, Sydney (Eric) Kern, Jacob Frank, Jason (Emily) Chapman, Nathan (Danielle) Chapman, Alyssa (Alex) Lubbers and also 11 great grandchildren; sisters Kathleen Frank, Betty (Jerry) Jerome, and Bonnie Duclos; sister-in-law Bernice Muehlfeld, along with many nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, Eugene, Phyllis was preceded in death by her brother Lloyd, brothers-in-law Donald Boesenecker, Otto Frank Jr, David Duclos, and niece Patsy (Boesenecker) Cushing.

Phyllis' family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the nurses and staff of A & D Home Health and A & D hospice for their compassionate care for their mom.

Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church, 1030 W. Tuscola, Frankenmuth, Michigan. Burial will follow in St. Lorenz Cemetery. Phyllis' family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Thursday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to any one of the St. Lorenz Church ministries or St. Lorenz Lutheran School.
