Raymond "John" Hartl Jr.

Loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away March 22, 2021, age 82 years. Raymond (John) was born on March 10, 1939 in Saginaw Mi to the late Raymond Sr. and Aileen Hartl.  John married the love of his life Judy Krueger on September 2, 1961 in Frankenmuth Mi; she survives him.

He honorably served in the U.S. Air Force.  John was employed at Grady Foundry for over 40 years until he retired. He was a member of St. Lorenz, Lutheran Church, Frankenmuth.

Surviving besides his wife Judy of 59 years is his daughter Tammy (Raymond) Hatfield of Howell, MI and granddaughter Dr. Elizabeth Hatfield of Ann Arbor, MI. Brother Ronald (Diane) Hartl, sister Mary (Dennis) Butzin, brother-in-law Richard (Carole) Krueger and sister-in-law Susan Krueger, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will take place ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Friday, March 26, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church, ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­1030 W. Tuscola, Frankenmuth, MI. The service will be live streamed https://stlorenz.org/stream/ . John's family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St., Frankenmuth, Michigan on ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Thursday, March 25, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 p.m and on Friday at the church from 12:00 noon until the time of service.  Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Alzheimers Association, St. Lorenz Lutheran Church, or a charity of your choice in John's name.
