Ricardo Gutierrez Sr.

With family by his side, Ricardo went home to his Lord, Saturday, June 18, 2022, at his home; age 65 years. Ricardo was born on November 29, 1956, in Saginaw, MI to the late Santos and Andrea Gutierrez. He married Deloris Rendon at St. Joseph Parish on September 3, 1994. He was employed by General Motors until his retirement in 2005. Ricardo was a member of St. Joseph Parish, Saginaw MI, He was a member of the YMCA, enjoyed gardening, taking care of his lawn, car shows, and auto racing. Ricardo loved basketball, wrestling, western movies, fishing and loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving him are his wife Deloris, sons Valentino Rendon, Rodrigo Rendon, Ricardo Gutierrez Jr., Carlos Gutierrez; grandchildren Gabriella Gutierrez, Thalia Gutierrez, Alyssa Rendon, Anthony Rendon, Valentino Rendon Jr; brothers and sisters Joe (Maria) Gutierrez, Alfred (Louisa) Gutierrez, Jimmy (Glenda) Gutierrez, Ruben (Becky) Gutierrez, Frances Ortiz, and many nieces and nephews.

Ricardo was preceded in death by sister Theresa Gutierrez and brother-in-law John Ortiz.

Funeral services will take place Thursday, June 23, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Parish, 910 N. Sixth Ave., Saginaw, Michigan. Fr. Frank Voris will officiate. Burial will take place in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Ricardo's family will receive visitors at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.  Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Joseph Parish, Saginaw, Michigan.
