Robert L. Burk

Frankenmuth, MI

Went home to be with his Lord Thursday, November 25, 2021; age 83 years. Robert was born on July 17, 1938 in Freeland, MI to the late Arthur and Marie Burk. Robert served in the U.S Army. He was married to Nancy Janson for 56 years, she predeceased him. He retired from Consumers Energy and was a longtime, faithful member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.

Surviving are a daughter and a son, Rhonda Burk and Steven (Sheryl) Burk; 4 grandchildren, Liana, Rachel, Randy, and Lindsay; 1 brother, Richard (Carol) Burk and many nieces and nephews.

Besides his wife, Robert was preceded in death by a son, Randy.

Funeral services will take place on Monday, November 29, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 8220 Holland Rd., Frankentrost, MI. Rev. Mark Loest will officiate with burial in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens, Saginaw. Due to COVID-19 risk no visitation is scheduled. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Immanuel Lutheran Church or Valley Lutheran High School.
