Robert J. "Bob" Ciszek

Frankenmuth, MI

Passed away Sunday, November 24, 2024 at Wellspring Lutheran Home with his daughter by his side; age 79 years. Robert was born on July 5, 1945 in Bay City, MI to the late Louis Sr. and Dolores Ciszek.

Bob attended Michigan State University before accepting his calling as a Michigan State Police Trooper. He served proudly from 1966 until his retirement in 1994 and remained dedicated as a retiree. Besides his love for MSU, he taught CPL classes and enjoyed playing slow pitch softball with his son Jason. He was an active member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, serving as an usher for many years.

Surviving are: daughter Shannon Ciszek of Frankenmuth and brother Louis Ciszek Jr. of Florida.

Besides his parents, Bob was preceded in death by son Jason Ciszek.

Funeral mass will take place on Monday, December 2, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 958 E. Tuscola St. Frankenmuth, Michigan. Fr. Patrick Jankowiak will officiate with cremation to follow. Bob's family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. Frankenmuth, on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
