Ronald (Ron) Norman Heinzman peacefully passed away at home, surrounded by loved ones on September 29, 2020, at the age of 83. Ron was born on August 21, 1937 to the late Norman and Katherine Heinzman of Quanicassee, MI. Ron married Patricia on November 3, 1990. Ron attended Akron High School, Bay City Junior College, and Central Michigan University where he graduated with a B.S. Chemical Engineering. Ron served 6 years in the Navy Reserves. He was employed at GM for 41 years as a Manufacturing Engineer. Ron enjoyed fishing, golfing, traveling, watching the Detroit Tigers, card playing, pickleball, billiards, biking, boating, and spending time with family and friends.

Ron is survived by his children: Adele (John) Lorrison, Marc (Andrea) Heinzman, Marci Beck-Heinzman and Jennifer Mattlin; Grandchildren: Adam Nowlen; Matthew, Kevin, Steven, and Sarah Heinzman; Madelynn and Chloe Beck; Great Grandchildren: Kyle, Haidyn, and Allison Nowlen.

He is also survived by his siblings: Leonard (Cheryl) Heinzman, Dennis (Susan) Heinzman, and Myrna Candreia; his in-laws: Mary Lou and Dave Agdanowski, Carol and Ken Kirk.

In accordance with Ron's wishes, cremation has taken place through Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth. A memorial service will be held for the family at a later date.
