Ronald Teall

Passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2019; 86 years old. Ron was born on September 17, 1932 in Kalamazoo, MI to the late Floyd and Ethelene Teall. He was married to Mary Jean Robertson Teall for 47 years, she predeceased him. He was a veteran serving in the U.S Air Force during the Korean War. He was stationed at Cape Canaveral, FL (Patrick AFB) for 44 months. He also served four years in the Air Force Reserve at Selfridge Air Force Base. Ron was a member of First Presbyterian Church Richland, MI serving the church as an elder. He also was an elder at Westminster Presbyterian Church in South Bend, IN, First Presbyterian Church Lawrenceburg, KY, and Faith Presbyterian Church Lakewood, OH. He taught Sunday school for 27 years from ages 8 through youth adults. He was a trustee at the Comstock Library from 2000 thru 2014. He was also a member of the American Legion Westnedge Post 36 in Kalamazoo for over 20 years. Ron was Commission Kentucky Colonel by Governor Julian M Carroll in 1976. Ron also served 20 years as a member of the National Electrical MFG Association Washington, D.C., also serving as a committee chairman for 15 years. He also served on the 1980 De-Regulation Act of the Trucking Industry as an advisor. Ron was also a member of the President Bush 41 Task Force Committee to the Soviet Union.

Surviving are: a son Bradley S. Teall and significant other, Shana Laskowski, granddaughter Chloe Elyse Teall, and grandson Andrew Steven Teall all of South Bend, IN; daughter Christine (Teall) Braeutigam and son-in-law Dr. Kim Braeutigam of Frankenmuth, MI; granddaughter Ehrin Jeanne (Braeutigam) Rittmueller and husband Mathew Rittmueller, two great grandsons Wyatt and Elliott Rittmueller all of Frankenmuth MI; granddaughter Allie Marie (Braeutigam) Fox and husband Adam Fox, great grandson Luther Cohen Fox all of Canton, New York.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Jeanne, a sister Loretta and a brother Loren Teall.

According to Ronald's wishes cremation has taken place. A private graveside service with Military honors will be held at a later date, Pastor Mark Jenning will officiate.
