Ruth Ann M. Ezop

Saginaw, MI

Passed away peacefully with family by her side Sunday, June 2, 2024, at Wellspring Lutheran Home after a brief illness; age 86 years. Ruth Ann Schrems was born on May 1, 1938 in Saginaw, MI to the late Frank and Louise Schrems. She was married to Thomas Ezop on June 13, 1959 in Sacred Heart Church in Saginaw.

Ruth Ann was employed by Saginaw Transfer Trucking for three years and Rohde's Leather Shop for sixteen years. She was a founding member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church and was in their Women's Group. She enjoyed sewing and traveling, and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving besides her husband Thomas are four daughters: Sharon (James) Weber of Ardmore, AL, Marie (Ben) Love of Vassar, MI, Marcia (James) Weiss of Saginaw, MI, and Theresa (Mark) Mallory of Saginaw, MI; four grandchildren: Erin (Scott) Boss, Erich Weber, Coryn Houser, and Sean Weiss; three great-grandchildren: Jude Weber, Iris and Knox Boss; sister-in-law Marge Schrems; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Ruth Ann was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.

Memorial mass will take place on Monday, June 10, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 958 E. Tuscola Rd., Frankenmuth, Michigan.  Fr. Patrick Jankowiak will officiate. Ruth Ann's family will receive visitors at the church on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
