Ruth A. Learmont

Passed away peacefully Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Wellspring Lutheran Home of Frankenmuth; age 82 years. Ruth Festerling was born on September 12, 1938 in Bay City, MI. She was the daughter of Albert and Irma Festerling. She was married to Tom Learmont; he survives her. She was employed by Bay City Shovels for 10 years before she got married. Ruth volunteered at Graebner Elementary in Sterling Heights, MI for many years.

Surviving besides her husband Tom are 1 daughter Mary (Jeffery) Hatfield of Saginaw, MI; granddaughter Christi Kerr; 1 great grandson Adrien Dana; 2 stepsons Bob (Val) Learmont and Don (Jennifer) Learmont; 1 sister Eileen (Jerry) Micho, sister-in-law Carol Festerling; 1 sister Laurie (Bob) Radakovitz; and many other relatives and friends.

Ruth was preceded in death by 1 brother Neil Festerling.

A private memorial service will take place. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Alzheimer's Association.
