Ruth A. Leslie

Passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at U of M Hospital Ann Arbor; age 70 years. Ruth Wright was born to the late Ola and Ruth (Butler) Wright on November 26, 1951, in Birch Run, MI. She was married to Myron Leslie on August 28, 1971; he survives her. Ruth was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting, visiting craft shows, spoiling her grandkids, working on her house, and taking care of others. Ruth was like a second mother to all her nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

Surviving besides her husband Myron are daughter Carrie Drew (Chris Vannatter); son Myron (Melissa LaRock) Leslie; grandchildren Aiden Drew and Catherine Drew; siblings Ola Wright Jr., Chester Wright, Carol (Norm) Knack, and Rosemary Manchester; many nieces and nephews.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents Ola and Ruth; sister Delores (Frank) Storms; sisters-in-law Diane Wright and Elaine Wright.

Funeral service will take place on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin Street. Pastor James Chinery will officiate, with burial to follow in Birch Run Twp Cemetery. Ruth's family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
